At Planet Grass our pallets cover 450sqft which is equivalent to 50 sqyds.
Unfortunately, we do not offer sod installation services. But you can always check our Resources page. There you will learn how to properly install your new sod. It states helpful sod installation tips.
At Planet Grass we do not offer warranty since grass can go bad quickly if not installed the first or second day. However, we do guarantee to deliver fresh cut sod to each and every customer. If there are any issues on the sod upon delivery, we request to be notified on the day of the delivery.
At Planet grass we offer delivery at minimum of 3 pallets – 18 pallets per truck load. We can also deliver full truck loads when needed large quantities. Our orders are never limited.
At Planet Grass we deliver from Monday to Friday. Sometimes making exception on the weekends when we get rainy days during the week.
At Planet Grass we deliver in Houston Tx and the surrounding area, including Sugar land TX, Katy TX, Rosenberg TX, Richmond TX, Bellaire TX, Pearland TX, Cypress TX, Tomball TX, Spring TX, Woodland TX, Humble TX Heights, River Oaks, Memorial, Meyerland and Bellaire.
Depending on the pallet count and delivery location, we can have your sod delivered between 2-3 days. Sometimes earlier.
At Planet Grass we have a minimum of 3 pallets. Depending on the type of grass and delivery location.
Yes! As long the forklift can drive in and out. We will get it close for you as much as possible.
At Planet Grass our full pallet has 155-165 pieces. They come in rectangle shape slap. Each slap piece is 16’’ x 24’’.
We recommend waiting 6-12 weeks before applying and type of chemical. Most of the time our sod come fertilize and treated off the farm.
Typically, we recommend to wait 4-6 weeks. Sometimes earlier. You will start noticing when the grass has started to bloom and grow. By then you have successfully established a healthy grass.
Grass can be planted year round.
